I decided this year was going to be a good year. A healthier year and a happier year than last year. I was excited when I opened Facebook one day and saw an advertisement for an app called "Happier".  I decided to give it a try. Mid-Week Gratitude Break

It has been a while since I have written about gratitude and I have a lot to be grateful for. September was a very difficult month. My Father-in-law passed away suddenly on September 3rd and "Uncle" Chuck followed on September 11th. What I am most grateful for during this difficult time is my support system. Mid-Week Gratitude Break

It is time again for a mid-week gratitude break. This has been a crazy and stressful week for me so I am grateful to have this time to detach from all that is going on and reflect on the good things in my life. Mid-Week Gratitude Break Kickoff

At the risk of sounding cliche, I have led a charmed life.  I am reminded daily how charmed and blessed my life has been. All I need to do is listen to the news or look around me and I am reminded that I don't have anything to complain about - ever. Not that I don't complain sometimes, it just really isn't justified.
